The learning years

Back in the classroom while the work continues — reading supply chains not as diagrams but as living systems of people, risk, and timing. The questions I meet at the port each morning, I now take apart slowly: why inventory breathes the way it does, where a network bends before it breaks, how a forecast quietly becomes a promise.

Two years of business taught on the far side of the Pacific, yet close to home. I learned to read numbers as a language — Tableau, data, the discipline of evidence — and graduated with High Distinction. More than the grade, it left me a habit: to ask what the data is actually saying before deciding what to do about it.

Four years that were equal parts trade theory and a camera in my hand. I won Young Talent Logistics and the highest mark on my final project — but I also found the part of me that loves to make, and to look closely. The two have never really separated since: the operator who wants the numbers right, and the person who wants the frame to be beautiful.
